If you are paying with PayPal, please read our guidelines before sending your payment.
Your registration will be confirmed by the instructor one or two weeks before the class starts. A supply list, if necessary will be provided at that time.
All classes are held in the guild’s home: The Strathcona Community League Building 10139-87 Ave. NW Edmonton. Parking is located at the back, or south side of the big red brick building. The guild room is inside the building on the main floor. Walk from the parking lot, between the building and the skating rink, the door is on your right side, just before the tennis courts. The guild is just down the hall on your right.
Please note the registration deadline for all classes and workshops is two weeks before the scheduled start date to allow instructors time to prepare.
You will not be notified until approximately 1- 2 weeks before the class begins.
If there are insufficient registrations at that time, the class or workshop will be cancelled and fees will be refunded. Course fees are payable to the guild at the time of registration. If you are unable to attend a class or workshop for which you have registered, you may ask a friend to take your place. There will be no refunds on registration fees, except in the event that the class is canceled by the EWG. Please ensure you provide a current phone number and email address with your registration so instructors can contact you regarding supplies or other class information. If you cannot be contacted to confirm information about supplies required and other class information, you run the risk of having your registration cancelled, and your spot in the class given to another student.
Please note refunds may be subject to an administration fee.
Looms and spinning wheels are available for loan during classes. For Beginner Weaving and Spinning classes a cheque for $350 as a damage deposit is required at the beginning of classes as equipment may be taken home during their duration. This cheque will be returned when the loom or spinning wheel and related materials are received in good condition by the instructor.
All classes and workshops are open to members and non-members of the Guild.
Please note that the PDF class information was current as of their release, and the website listings will have the most up-to date information on the status of our classes.
